Amateur and Youth Focus!

As we move through the balance of this year, the founding members of IAMHA have made a decision to focus our efforts towards the youth and amateur portion of the miniature community and would be interested in hearing any thoughts that Associate Members may have with regard to this additional agenda.

Our first step in this direction is our Fall 2008 Show Prospect Sale & Seminars, which will be a live auction, following a series of quality seminars. This exciting and unique event will be held on Saturday, November 15th, at the Lone Star Expo and Convention Center in Conroe, TX.

"We plan for this sale to have a little different flavor and twist."

This sale will be a little different in that it will have reduced consignment fees plus a BIG focus on geldings, performance horses, and show prospect fillies/colts. This is being done to try and help the small and large breeders who are producing quality horses to find potential buyers that they would not have access to on a normal basis.

Advertising will also be done in various places that are out of the ordinary, in order to attempt to find and interest new folks in the American Miniature Horse that we all love!
